More than a million visit Central Riverfront Regional Park

A new Metropolitan Council report on regional parks shows that more than one million people now visit Central Riverfront Regional Park annually.
The Central Riverfront Regional Park, located along the Minneapolis downtown riverfront, drew an estimated 1,056,400 visitors in 2005.
Walking and hiking, with 30 percent, are by far the favorite activities of people visiting regional parks.
